Some cool stuff about The Sims 3

Original publish date: February 4th, 2013

So, I decided to give Sims 3 a further try, after abandoning it due to the difficulties in playing.

After the test, I had discovered many amazing things that only appeared in Sims 3! Below is the list of some of them.

  • In The Sims 3 Seasons, you can adjust the length of the seasons! How nice! Say you want a polar-like climate, you could set spring, summer and fall to last only three days each and winter to last more than ten days. This is not possible with The Sims 2; where you have to give up one or two of the seasons!
  • In The Sims 3 Seasons, when it rains, the scenery actually grew dark like in real life! In Sims 2 it only shows a dull gray tone or sometimes not at all except for clouds! Same goes for hail as well!
  • When it snows, you can actually see the snow gradually building up, like in real life! In Sims 2 it is static and the snow does not build up gradually!
  • In Sims 3, you can see the temperature of the outside; and you can even adjust some settings relating to temperatures! In Sims 2 you have to use an MOD to enable this feature!

And there were many more things that I had discovered in The Sims 3, not just for the Seasons expansion pack. If you have just migrated from Sims 2, I’m sure you will be amazed at how good Sims 3 is!
